Join us for an information-packed, hands-on session that will
provide you with a working knowledge of the
Energy-10
software tool, an essential design tool for creating low-energy
residential and small commercial buildings. The workshops are
taught by experienced building
professionals and can be tailored to meet your needs.
Architects, engineers, utilities, code officials, and government
agencies will find the training especially beneficial.
AIA-registered
architects receive
up to 12 Learning Unit hours of Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW)
credit for the two-day workshops (6 hours for one-day
workshops). Working closely with hundreds of local partnerships, SBIC has conducted over 80 workshops and seminars since 1996,
training thousands of professional architects and engineers as
well as students.
Those attending the workshop will
receive a free copy of the Mastering
Energy-10

techniques for taking full advantage of all
Energy-10 has
to offer.
The following topics are covered:
-
A review of the basics of
passive solar/climate-responsive design principles
