In 1997, Naval Facilities Criteria Office was looking for ways to leverage the shrinking technical and financial resources they used to update hundreds of paper-based criteria documents. SBIC's members and staff helped conceptualize the Whole Building Design Guide website to help address this growing problem. The website became the first electronic portal to provide free access to government-wide, buildings-related criteria, guidance, and best practices. go

Learning By Design is the premier, award-winning annual guide that showcases outstanding school and university facilities design and construction projects. The guide comes from Stratton Publishing & Marketing, Inc., the National School Boards Association, and the American School Board Journal. go
