Supporting
SBIC may come in many forms: from sponsoring a
seminar, workshop, or event
in your city, to cosponsoring our annual Forum, to becoming a
third party distributor of SBIC publications.

SBIC
has a knack for identifying connections that are not always
readily apparent ... |
- Public utilities look for ways to implement conservation
measures mandated by law;
- Schools of architecture seek to
introduce or expand on an existing 'green design'
curriculum;
- Building systems and materials manufacturers
want to quantify and illustrate the potential of their
product to achieve operating efficiencies;
- Architects are
concerned with the impact their buildings are having on the
environment; and
- State and local energy offices with limited
resources discover that SBIC has already developed excellent
resources and training activities to help them accomplish
their goals.

For
Nearly
25
Years
SBIC has established numerous successful partnerships with
different organizations. We take a proactive approach to
collaborative efforts,
and over the years, have refined the partnering process to
be dynamic, productive, synergistic... and highly effective.
SBIC staff has a knack for recognizing people and
organizations that learn from one another, draw upon and
complement one another's talents and experience. The
catalyzing event (the workshop, seminar, discussion forum,
etc.) always culminates in an effort that meets the goals
and expectations of all parties involved.
Our partners
State and Local Energy Offices, energy and
resource efficient building product and material manufacturers and
suppliers, local chapters of national organizations (AIA,
NAHB, ASHRAE, USGBC, ASES, NCMA),
universities, and local builder and contractor
associations. Our partners interests are different, but
intersect with ours in important ways.
